Bookmarked: Projects we didn’t design but wish we had

University Park Project by Urbanology Designs

Urbanology Designs pushed the boundaries of design and showcased the possibilities of an open concept kitchen renovation that goes beyond aesthetics. Urbanology used the same material in various forms, shapes, and locations to demonstrate that repetitive and unexpected applications can create breathtaking results.

This family kitchen was lacking the inspired and joyful environment the homeowners were seeking. They wanted the space to provide the function and wow factor they desired to live in.

“Inspired by well-curated European vignettes, sculptural elements, clean lines, and a natural color scheme with pops of color, this design reflects an elegant organic modern style. Mixing metals, contrasting textures, and utilizing clean lines were key elements in achieving the desired aesthetic. The living room introduces bolder moments and a carefully chosen color scheme that adds character and personality.”

Depth and movement is created beautifully through the juxtaposition of stone, fabrics and wood. The space is airy and light, with impact in all directions - creating a delicate balance between soft and dramatic.

The modern lighting, neutral palette and play on scale is a winning combination for a chic yet approachable family space.
