My No-Fuss Thanksgiving Travel Outfit

This Thanksgiving I’m heading back to my home state of California to spend the holiday in Los Angeles. As a busy mom of two, I like to keep it simple when it comes to my travel style, especially when traveling solo with the kids. Here’s my go to travel outfit that’s cute, comfy and kid friendly.

MICHELLE’S LIST

I prefer to wear staple pieces on travel days that l will wear again during my trip. As an overpacker this helps my suitcase stay underweight. I like to combine athleisure pieces with a nicer sweater and jacket that I can dress up or wear on a causal day during my trip.

OF COURSE, NO TRAVEL OUTFIT IS COMPLETE WITHOUT A PAIR OF BLACK SUNGLASSES.

I always run cold, so I need to wear layers while traveling. A buttery soft hooded sweater works perfect under another staple piece like a jean jacket.

Black leggings are a no brainer - I love these Alo Leggings because they stay in place and are super comfortable. If they have pockets for my phone that’s even better.

I love to travel with a backpack instead of a big tote bag. It’s easier to carry a backpack with kids and helps me stay organized. I have had several Lululemon backpacks but this one is my favorite so far.

When it comes to shoes, sneakers are a must. These New Balance sneakers are amazing and so comfortable.

Safe travels!
