Design Crush: Holly Waterfield
Holly Waterfield designs spaces equivalent to a warm hug.
Relaxed, intentional and masterfully honed, Waterfield’s interiors reflect both her studied prowess and intuitive design sense resulting in homes you can’t help but dream of living in.
Holly begins every project with the ever changing lives of her clients in mind. With a gifted eye for textiles and vintage pieces, she builds a true design narrative devoted to ease and rooted in timeless, inherited style.
Having honed her business acumen as a marketing executive, she also garnered her business sense as an event producer for the Nantucket Film Festival and the owner of the cult-favorite West Village lifestyle shop, Camp. However, once she realized that interior design was her truest love, Holly earned a degree from Parsons and began her new career.
Her work has been features in AD, Dwell, Martha Stewart Living, Living Etc. among others.
Holly’s signature and strategic use of space, custom elements, organic materials and loads of vintage textiles also lends itself to her work as Style Director for The Brooklyn Home Company, a high-end boutique development firm.
